Climbing
Final Show Selections
I have made the final selections for the show. The Preliminary Picks are the final photos, and I’ve added one more photo from a climbing trip, as seen below.

Lover’s Leap
Went climbing this past weekend to Lover’ Leap, near South Lake Tahoe. Did some trad climbing. Ended up not taking very many pictures. The sun was stark raving flat high in the sky. And by the time good light rolled around. I was cooked, and tired. Almost stepped on a rattlesnake. I thought it was a cicada, just a young rattler. My climbing buddy thankfully saw it just as I was about to step right on it. I saw it as it slithered into the bushes. I like Rattlesnakes, they’re cool, unless they bite you.
Here’s a rattlesnake I saw a couple of years ago when I did a bike ride from Wyoming to Pennsylvania. This guy was on the side of the highway. I could hear it as I rode by even thought the wind was blowing about 60mph.
