Corbet’s Couloir
Corbet’s Couloir is the name making route at the resort in Jackson, WY. It’s also a great place to watch the less successful attempts. There was six hundred inches of snow that year. The picture doesn’t do the drop, or the grade, justice. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corbet%27s_Couloir
Jackson Hole
I took this picture Thanksgiving of 2006 after hiking up the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. The snow was a little wet, but deep, and the slopes were empty!
